Location: Jackson Flat Reservoir, Kanab, UT. Parking is available below the dam and along the road east of the start, near the Rodeo Arena. It is best to arrive early to get a parking spot and set up transition.

Course Information 

​Course Information 

​Swim

Location: Jackson Flat Reservoir, Kanab, Utah

 

Start: The swim begins with a time trial start from the sandy beach.

  

Course Route: Swimmers will navigate a triangular pattern, starting along the reservoir wall and swimming clockwise around buoys before returning to the boat ramp for transition.

Turnaround Points: Designated by buoys, swimmers will turn at each corner of the triangle.

  

Spectator Viewing: Spectators can watch from the shoreline beach and land near tansition; however will not be permitted on the trail along th e dam.

  

Transition:After the swim, participants proceed up the boat ramp for the swim-to-bike transition.

 

Wet Suits will be permitted if water temperatures don't exceed 78 degrees F.

Lifeguards: Positioned in open water sections of the swim course for participant safety.

Bike

Olymopic: Route Description: Cyclists will travel down Kane Plex Road, turning south onto Highway 89A. They'll pass through Main Street in Fredonia, Arizona, then head west on Pratt Street. After 2.2 miles, they'll turn north onto the Sixmile Road Loop.

 

Loop Section: Cyclists will navigate the Sixmile Road Loop before returning to the main route.

 

Return Route: After completing the loop, cyclists will retrace their path, passing through Fredonia and Kane Plex Road before returning to the reservoir.

 

Safety Measures: Marshals and officials will be stationed along the route to ensure safety and provide assistance as cyclest cross the road..

Run

Sprint: Runners complete one lap around the reservior trail. 

Olympic: Runners complete two laps around the reservior.
